Job Summary

The Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) plays a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care and treatment in emergency and non-emergency situations. As a member of the Global Medical Response team, you will respond to requests for medical assistance, provide compassionate care, and ensure the safe transportation of patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Follow established medical treatment protocols and Company policies to ensure the highest level of patient care.
  • Operate Company vehicles safely and efficiently, adhering to traffic laws and Risk & Safety policies.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of local street layouts and number systems to quickly locate addresses.
  • Perform routine checks on the ambulance to ensure it is in a state of mechanical readiness.
  • Maintain accurate and complete documentation of patient assessments, treatments, and services rendered.
Qualifications
  • Must be at least 18 years of age and possess a valid Driver's License.
  • State EMT certification and CPR/BLS certifications are required.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills, strong listening and comprehension abilities, and adaptability to quickly evolving situations are essential.
Working Conditions and Requirements

This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with extended periods of sitting, standing, and walking. The EMT must be able to lift more than 200 lbs. with assistance and wear a face mask or respirator for extended periods when required.
