- Safety Regulations Adherence: Guarantee that all electrical operations meet safety standards and company protocols, promoting a safety-oriented culture within the team.
- Team Development: Guide and mentor a group of electricians and electrical technicians, offering support, training, and performance assessments.
- Troubleshooting Expertise: Quickly identify and resolve electrical problems to minimize operational interruptions and ensure ongoing functionality.
- Record Keeping: Maintain precise documentation of electrical maintenance tasks, project developments, and system efficiency.
- Process Enhancement: Recognize and implement opportunities for process optimization, cost reduction, and improved system reliability.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Educational Background: A Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field is preferred.
- Professional Experience: At least 2 years of supervisory experience in an industrial setting, ideally within the mining or heavy industry sector.
- Technical Proficiency: Comprehensive understanding of electrical systems, power distribution frameworks, and control circuits. Familiarity with underground mining electrical systems is advantageous.
- Leadership Skills: Demonstrated leadership capabilities with experience in managing and nurturing electrical teams.
- Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities with a focus on troubleshooting and resolving electrical challenges efficiently.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of engaging with all organizational levels.
