MRI Technologist

We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at Trinity Health Michigan. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing MRI scans, preparing patients, and working closely with radiologists to produce high-quality images.
Key Responsibilities:- Review and prepare patient orders, positioning, and performing MRI imaging
- Demonstrate advanced knowledge of MRI/MRA and related clinical indicators for exams
- Adjust scanning protocols based on anatomy/physiology presented during the scan
- Administer contrast media required for diagnostic protocols
- Assist physicians/APPs with MRI-guided invasive procedures
- Completion of an accredited MRI Technologist program preferred
- Advanced certification in MRI by ARRT or ARMRIT; OR MRI Registry-eligible with certification within one year of hire
- Maintain Continuing Education credits (24 CEU in two periods) and other requirements to maintain ARRT certification
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- One year MRI experience preferred
- Good working knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy
- Proficient in venipuncture
- Knowledge of methods to set up and operate MRI equipment
