Facilities Electrician

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Facilities Electrician to join our team at Sigma Equipment. As a Facilities Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems and equipment in our facility.

• Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems and equipment
• Perform preventative maintenance on electrical units, controls, and components
• Collaborate with facilities technicians and operations management on projects
• Ensure electrical systems and equipment are functioning safely and efficiently
• Document and report maintenance activities and issues

• Electrical Certification, Journeyman License, Associates degree or trade school required with a minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 5-7 years related field experience
• Strong project management background and ability to lead outside contractors
• Knowledge of Allen Bradley systems, VFD's, PLC's hardware and software, AC/DC circuits, 4-20 mA circuits, and 440 MCC's
• Low and medium voltage experience - 480, 277, 120V
• Transform to 13,800 to 480 to 120
• Ability to write logic and demonstrate a working knowledge of RS Logic
• Ability to read and comprehend blueprints and drawings, handbooks, specifications, equipment manuals, parts lists, and other written material associated with the position
• Ability to work efficiently to support all teams within the facility
• Interpersonal skills - effective communicator with internal teams, contractors, and project managers
• Good troubleshooting skills, ability to diagnose and complete repairs in emergency situations
• Ability to work individually and as part of a team; self-motivated
• Physical ability to lift over 50lbs
• Assertive and confident with electrical work performed
• Proficient in LOTO operations
• Well-versed in proper use of PPE for various situations
