Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Avionics/Electrical Technician II to join our team at Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for testing aircraft systems, troubleshooting and repairing system discrepancies to ensure minimum schedule impact.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Perform technical expertise in testing aircraft systems, troubleshooting and repairing system discrepancies to ensure minimum schedule impact.
  2. Implement process changes to reduce cost and meet schedule without compromising safety or quality.
  3. Fill in for the Senior Avionics/Electrical Technician to ensure that the company goals of safety and quality are enforced at all times.

Requirements

  1. High School Diploma or GED required.
  2. Four (4) years experience in an avionics/electrical career field or two (2) years of accredited schooling in aviation electronics and two (2) years related experience.
  3. A&P (FAA Airframe and Powerplant) license preferred.
  4. Other FCC and NCATT preferred.

Additional Information

This is a first shift position; however, must be willing to work any shift as needed to meet company needs.

Must be able to climb stairs and ladders, work in confined areas and lift up to 50 pounds.
