Respiratory Therapist Travel Position in Washington State

Travel Nurse Across America is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist for an immediate travel position in Chewelah, WA. This assignment offers a competitive salary of $105,000 per year, taking into account the location and the level of experience required.
About the JobThis role requires a Respiratory Therapist with at least one year of recent acute care experience. The ideal candidate will be able to provide direct patient care, including evaluations and treatments according to procedural guidelines.
Responsibilities- Administer respiratory and cardiology modalities to patients, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, adhering to hospital standards.
- Clean, disinfect, assemble, calibrate, and maintain respiratory and cardiology equipment, identifying any malfunctions and reporting them to the director.
- Perform arterial puncture and analyze samples according to procedure guidelines.
- Interact effectively with healthcare teams, including nurses, physicians, and other hospital personnel, to optimize patient care.
- Respond promptly to emergent situations requiring respiratory support.
To be successful in this role, candidates must have a strong foundation in respiratory therapy, including specific vision abilities and physical demands such as standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
The requirements for this position include:
- 1 year of experience as a Respiratory Therapist in an acute care setting.
- BLS, ACLS certification.
- PALS and NRP certification may be required in some areas.
