This position requires a strong knowledge base in perinatal nursing, with the ability to apply theoretical concepts to clinical practice and continually expand knowledge and skills.

Responsibilities
  • Provides direct and indirect patient care in a perinatal setting
  • Performs obstetrical medical screening exams and provides detailed reports to physicians
  • Utilizes discretion and independent judgment to make decisions regarding patient care
  • Works independently with minimal supervision, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple assignments effectively
  • Collaborates with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care
Requirements
  • Active California Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Neonatal Resuscitation Provider (NRP) certification
  • Fetal Monitoring course completion within 6 months of hire
  • S.T.A.B.L.E. (Sugar, Temperature, Airway, Blood Pressure, Lab Work, Emotional Support) course completion within 6 months of hire
