Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Dental Hygienist to join our team at 1st Advantage Dental-Latham.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional patient care and education on oral health and hygiene practices.
  • Conduct thorough dental hygiene procedures, including cleanings and screenings.
  • Collaborate with our dental team to ensure seamless patient care and treatment.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest dental hygiene techniques and technologies.

Requirements:

  • Current dental hygienist license in New York.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene (where required).
  • Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, and patient screening and medical history documentation.
  • CPR Certification.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • New Grads are encouraged to apply.
  • Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays, and electronic medical record systems.
  • Desire to continue learning and growing clinical skills to meet patient needs and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients' dental health.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Prolonged periods sitting and standing.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times.
