Position Overview

CJ Logistics America is seeking a Logistics Warehouse Supervisor who plays a crucial role in mentoring and training the CJ Logistics workforce while ensuring adherence to best practices. The Warehouse Supervisor is tasked with offering direction to operations specialists and conducting hands-on training on optimal practices and safe equipment usage. This position also involves performing all duties of a Forklift Operator and may serve as a substitute for Warehouse Supervisors when required to provide leadership during shifts and maintain essential building security.

Shift
  • Monday to Friday, 8am to 4:30pm
Salary Range
  • $24.23 to $26.41
Key Responsibilities
  • Operate material handling machinery and execute all logistics center operations using the appropriate equipment (i.e., sit down, stand up, reach, cherry picker)
  • Offer general guidance and technical support to Forklift Operators
  • Exemplify and promote the CJ Logistics safety culture
  • Conduct on-the-job training for Operations Specialists and other logistics center personnel as part of CJ Logistics New Employee Onboarding program
  • Provide constructive feedback while fostering a positive relationship with team members
  • Support operations throughout the shift
  • Step in for the Warehouse Supervisor as needed
Requirements and Qualifications

Required
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Capability to operate material handling equipment
  • Experience with Warehouse Management Systems
  • Basic math and reading proficiency
  • Effective communication skills; both verbal and written
  • Ability to lift up to 60 lbs.
Preferred
  • Basic computer proficiency
  • Experience in delivering operational training
  • Willingness to work off-shifts as required for training needs
