The Senior Aquatics Instructor is tasked with instructing both children and adults, as well as coaching and developing the aquatics curriculum. This role includes supervising instructor training, ensuring all certifications are up to date, and maintaining the high standards of our lessons. Join us in fostering a supportive and enriching learning environment for our participants.
Key Responsibilities:- Implement the established curriculum to provide safe and effective swimming lessons
- Establish and nurture relationships with students and their families
- Mentor and train new instructors
- Ensure all certifications and skills are current
- Adaptable schedule, including evening and weekend availability
- Availability on Tuesday and Thursday evenings (4-8 pm) and Saturday (9 am-2 pm)
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Completion of a background check is mandatory
- Dependable transportation is required
- Prior experience in swimming instruction
- Lifeguarding and CPR certifications are advantageous
- Experience working with children is preferred
