- Ensure all projects comply with legal standards and meet required operational benchmarks.

- Act as a technical authority in engineering practices, contributing to committees that develop proposals and recommendations for management consideration.

- Provide expert advice to management on engineering projects and identify technical constraints affecting operational proposals.

- Conduct engineering assessments of building and equipment layouts to determine optimal configurations based on a thorough analysis of costs, processing efficiencies, and labor requirements.

- Review vendor proposals for adequacy and cost-effectiveness, facilitating discussions to clarify and coordinate necessary adjustments.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
- Professional Engineer license
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in power distribution within a manufacturing context.

Preferred Skills:

- Proven experience in leading team projects
- Familiarity with rolling mill operations
- Proficiency in PLC programming and design
- Knowledge of cross-platform communication and data exchange systems.

- Experience with closed-loop control systems and instrumentation for various parameters including flow, temperature, pressure, level, position, and mass.

- Expertise in data acquisition and supervisory control systems, as well as motor controllers and variable frequency drives.
