Seeking Hematology Oncology Physician with Breast Melanoma Focus

Banner Health is actively recruiting for a Hematology Oncology Physician with a focus on Breast and Melanoma care to join our team at the University of Arizona Cancer Center in Tucson, AZ.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a cutting-edge, multidisciplinary clinical environment with active research programs. Our team consists of 20 Faculty members, including 13 Solid Tumor and 7 Hematologist physicians, and 13 APPs within the Division of Hematology Oncology.

As a Hematology Oncology Physician with a Breast Melanoma Focus, you will have the opportunity to work with a talented team of healthcare professionals and contribute to the prevention and cure of cancer through patient care, research, and education.

Position Details:
  • 1.0 FTE
  • (6) Four-hour sessions of clinic per week at 1.0 cFTE
  • Administrative Time
  • Clinical shift: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
  • Inpatient E-Service 6-8 weeks per year
  • EMR: Cerner
  • 2 Year Ramp Up
Requirements:
  • Applicants must hold MD or MD/PhD degrees, be board-certified in Internal Medicine and board-certified or eligible in Medical Oncology and/or Hematology and be able to meet medical licensure requirements in Arizona.
