Production Director

Forge Search is seeking a seasoned Production Manager to lead our machining operations. As a key member of our team, you will oversee daily plant operations, ensuring production goals are met efficiently on automated CNC machining and assembly lines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plant Operations: Manage daily plant operations, coordinating with cross-functional teams to optimize production processes.
• Team Leadership: Mentor and motivate production staff, fostering a high-performing team that excels in high-precision environments.
• Production Planning: Collaborate with other departments to ensure on-time, optimized production, meeting customer demands.
• Quality Control: Implement lean production methods (5S, OEE) to maintain top-tier quality control, ensuring customer satisfaction.
• New Projects: Lead the launch of new customer projects and production improvements, driving business growth.
• Safety & Maintenance: Maintain a clean, safe plant environment, optimizing equipment and processes to minimize downtime.

Requirements:

• Leadership Experience: 5-10 years in a production environment, with proven leadership skills and a track record of success.
• Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of high-precision machining, automation, and robotics, with a hands-on approach to problem-solving.
• Hands-On Mentality: Comfortable working on the production floor, with physical stamina for a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility: Able to work across our three-shift operation, adapting to changing needs and priorities.
