Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Worker to join our team at Estes Forwarding Worldwide, LLC. As a Warehouse Worker, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently unloading, sorting, handling, and loading freight in accordance with verbal and written instructions, as well as Federal, State, and customer regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Move freight, stock, or other materials to and from storage or production areas, loading docks, or delivery vehicles or containers by hand or using trucks, tractors, or other equipment.
  • Read work orders or receive oral instructions to determine work assignments or material or equipment needs.
  • Control and maintain all records required for accurate, on-time completion of shipments.
  • Work in a team environment to accomplish work assignments.
  • Periodically use computers, email, scanners, and the warehouse management system WMS to track inventory, create paperwork, or document reporting.
Requirements
  • Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent and 0-2 years of experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret general business documents.
  • Ability to write routine reports and general business correspondence.
  • Ability to work with peers and communicate basic concepts.
  • Ability to solve practical problems through standardized solutions that require limited judgment.
  • Ability to follow prescribed and detailed procedures to solve routine problems.
  • Good judgment; knows when to escalate issues and when to try to resolve.
  • Ability to work independently or in a team setting, in a fast-paced environment.
