Job Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Dietitian to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with patients to develop and implement comprehensive nutritional treatment plans. Your expertise will be invaluable in helping us provide high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments on each patient upon admission
- Counsel patients on principles of well-balanced nutrition in individual sessions and conduct group nutrition discussions
- Prepare individualized meal plans that consider the needs of the patient including medical, nutritional, age, cultural, religious, and ethical concerns
- Provide weekly individual nutritional counseling for patients and family (as needed)
- Conduct nutrition education groups that are appropriate for adult and adolescent populations
- Update the nutritional status of each patient weekly as part of team rounds/meetings and as requested
- Complete all required documentation and reports in a timely manner, maintaining compliance with policies and procedures
- Participate in development and updates of patient cycle menu
- Manage inventory and food ordering/restocking for weekly food orders
- Communicate effectively with other departments to provide high-quality patient care
- Demonstrate accountability for the proper use of patients' protected health information
- Participate in presentations of scheduled in-services and other appropriate training activities
- Utilize supervisory feedback to improve performance
- Monitor meals and snacks, including eating/modeling normal eating with eating disordered patients
- Communicate with referring and/or outpatient dietitian upon admitting to program, during the course of treatment as needed, and upon discharge from the program
- Perform Quality Improvement activities
Requirements:
- Registered Dietitian with current registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration and up-to-date continuing education credits
- Bachelor's degree in dietetics required; Graduate degree preferred
- Minimum of 2-3 years nutrition counseling experience preferred
- Experience with eating disorder population preferred
Salary Information:The estimated salary for this position is $60,000-$80,000 per year, depending on experience.
