Supervisor: Project Manager

Position Summary: This role encompasses entry-level general labor and site utility tasks for both commercial and residential construction endeavors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and maintain construction sites to mitigate potential risks
  • Support team members with various construction activities as required
  • Safely load, transport, and unload tools, materials, and equipment
  • Excavate trenches and manage earth removal, filling, or compaction
  • Prepare compounds for surface covering or cleaning
  • Assist in the handling and placement of conduits and cables
  • Maintain and care for equipment
  • Conduct site clean-up operations
  • Complete all necessary documentation as per company requirements
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned

Qualifications: A high school diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent trade school education is mandatory. A year of experience in construction, maintenance, or labor is preferred. Familiarity with locate markings is advantageous.

Technical Proficiencies: Competence in utilizing hand tools is essential.

Interpersonal Skills: Ability to comprehend and follow instructions, work autonomously and collaboratively, manage multiple tasks, and function effectively in a dynamic environment.

Physical Demands:

  • Must successfully complete pre-employment screenings, including background checks and drug tests
  • Must hold a valid driver's license and comply with company driving record standards
  • Good physical fitness is required, with the ability to lift up to 75 lbs and perform various physical activities
  • Comfortable working in moderate to loud noise levels, outdoors in diverse weather conditions, standing for extended periods, and working long hours as necessary
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% for local or national projects
