Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiation Therapist to join our team in the Oncology department. As a Radiation Therapist, you will play a critical role in the treatment of cancer patients, working closely with our Radiation Oncologists to deliver precise and effective radiation therapy.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the simulation process, ensuring accurate patient positioning and treatment planning.
  • Deliver prescribed courses of radiation to patients, monitoring their progress and side effects.
  • Collaborate with the Radiation Oncology team to develop and implement treatment plans.
  • Provide exceptional patient care, ensuring a safe and comfortable experience for all patients.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Radiation Therapy program.
  • Two years of previous experience as a Radiation Therapist, preferably in an oncology setting.
  • AART registration and current Iowa Permit to Practice Radiation Therapy.
  • Current BCLS certification.
