Position Details:

* Work Type: Full Time
* Location: Alamogordo, New Mexico
* Team Composition: 6 Physicians, 2 CNPs, a Manager, a Clinical Coordinator for Bariatrics, 5 nurses, 1 Medical Assistant, and support staff
* Work Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM; Friday, 8:00 AM - 12:00 Noon
* Call: Flexible Shared Call Responsibilities
* Patient Distribution: 60% Outpatient; 40% Inpatient
* Average Operative Volume: The typical caseload includes 3-4 major elective surgeries per week and 5-10 outpatient procedures, depending on the number of calls taken.

Requirements:

* Must be Board-Certified or Board-Eligible
* Must be capable of performing colonoscopies until we have a full-time GI specialist

Ideal Candidate: The ideal candidate should be willing to take call and be comfortable working in a collaborative, team-based environment rather than relying solely on consultations. Comfort with acute care surgeries is also essential.
