Role Responsibilities and QualificationsAs a Registered CT Technologist, you will be responsible for delivering computed tomographic images to patients as per physician directives. We pride ourselves on our collaborative team environment and are looking for a remarkable individual who shares our passion for patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients for CT examinations, explain procedures, and ensure high technical quality.
- Foster personal professional development by fulfilling mandatory and continuing education requirements.
- Utilize medical terminology accurately within the Imaging Department.
- Serve as a mentor and resource for less experienced staff and students.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to meet the Imaging Department's needs.
Required Qualifications:
- An Associate Degree, Diploma, or BSRT degree in Radiologic Technology.
- Current licensure as a Medical Radiologic Technologist by the Texas Department of Health.
- Active registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Advanced certification in CT to be obtained within six months of employment.
- Previous experience in a CT setting is preferred.
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
