As a key member of our team, the Cashier - Vault and Cash Processing Specialist will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our cash handling and vault operations. This includes counting and balancing the vault, processing transactions from other departments, and ensuring compliance with gaming regulations and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Count and balance the vault, ensuring accuracy and accountability of cash and assets.
  2. Process transactions from other departments in a timely and accurate manner, maintaining an up-to-date audit trail.
  3. Prepare banks for distribution to other departments, ensuring all necessary documents and records are accurate and complete.
  4. Verify sales and banks being returned against transaction slips, ensuring discrepancies are resolved promptly.
  5. Process all currency and coin received from daily transactions, accurately reconciling and recording all activities.
  6. Prepare currency for NRT Redemption Kiosks, fill NRTs with currency and coin, and perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance.
  7. Replenish and balance ticket redemption machines, ensuring all equipment is functioning properly and efficiently.
  8. Follow all policies and procedures to ensure compliance with gaming regulations and procedures, maintaining a professional and well-groomed appearance at all times.
  9. Perform other duties and projects as required by management, supporting the overall success of our team.

Requirements
Physical Requirements
  • Sitting or standing for long periods of time; occasional bending, squatting, kneeling, stooping; good finger dexterity and feeling; frequent repetitive motions; talking, hearing, and visual acuity.
  • Occasional lifting (up to 30 lbs).
Working Conditions
  • Normal casino environment.
  • Flexible hours (weekends, nights, holidays).

Education and Qualifications
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • Knowledge of federal cash reporting requirements and Title 31 compliance regulations.
  • Excellent math skills and cash handling abilities.
  • Very good communication and writing skills.
  • Ability to work any shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Documents Required
