Henry Ford Health is seeking a visionary leader to head its Pediatric Gastroenterology Division. As a key member of the Department of Pediatrics, this individual will play a crucial role in developing and implementing strategies to advance the field of pediatric gastroenterology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of centers of excellence in IBD, Nutrition, Celiac, Hepatobiliary and Pancreas, Airway, EOE and Food Allergy, Neurogastroenterology
- Drive academic and clinical components of growth, including ambulatory and inpatient care, consultative services, and performance of general GI procedures
- Supervise and educate medical students and residents
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to advance research and clinical care
Requirements:
- M.D., Ph.D. / M.D. / D.O. degree, or equivalent
- Completion of an ACGME approved fellowship in Pediatric Gastroenterology
- Licensed by the Michigan Medical Board
- Board Certification by the American Board of Pediatrics, subspecialty certification in pediatric gastroenterology medicine (or eligible for same)
