Nutrition Evaporator Specialist

The Whey Evaporator Operator is a critical role within our production team, responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the evaporator in accordance with standard operating procedures. This position requires a high level of attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

• Operate the HTST, evaporator, and CIP system to produce high-quality products.
• Start up and shut down HTST, maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements and ensuring a smooth production process.
• React quickly to adjust and troubleshoot equipment to maintain product specifications and prevent deviations.
• Complete daily checklists and maintain accurate records of production activities.
• Handle and test chemicals, and enter data into the MES computer system.
• Monitor and test product quality, recognizing and communicating potential deviant situations to ensure prompt corrective action.
• Communicate effectively with the Quality Department, Cheese Production Operators, and department management to ensure seamless collaboration and problem-solving.
• Apply lockouts to equipment as required, and perform additional duties as assigned.

• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions to drive process improvements.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to determine the root cause of issues and present solutions to others.
• Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment and communicate verbally and in writing.
• Computer knowledge, including Microsoft Office products, and familiarity with SAP or similar integrated manufacturing systems.
• Must be at least 18 years of age and able to support 24/7/365 operation.
