The Converse Home is a private nonprofit senior community dedicated to providing exceptional care and support to our residents. Our assisted living and memory care community is located in a quiet, residential neighborhood.

Job Summary

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Resident Care Assistants. As a Resident Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents by assisting with daily living activities, providing companionship, and ensuring that our residents receive the highest level of care and respect.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
  • Provide compassionate and respectful care to residents while maintaining their dignity and independence.
  • Monitor and document residents' health and well-being, reporting any changes to the nursing staff.
  • Help maintain a clean and safe living environment for residents.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and other team members.
  • Follow all community policies and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of residents.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in a caregiving or healthcare role preferred.
  • Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) certification is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Compassionate, patient, and caring demeanor.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Must be able to pass a background check.
