Security Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Security Officer to join our team at Ojos Locos. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our facility, patrons, and employees.
Key Responsibilities- ID Verification: Verify the identity of all patrons entering the facility to ensure compliance with our security protocols.
- Patron Screening: Conduct thorough screenings of patrons to detect any prohibited items or suspicious behavior.
- Incident Reporting: Accurately document and report all incidents, including details of who, what, when, and why.
- Force Reporting: Immediately report any use of force to the Director of Security and submit a detailed report by the end of the shift.
- Premises Monitoring: Conduct regular walk-throughs of the facility to ensure the safety and security of patrons and employees.
- Parking Lot Monitoring: Monitor the parking lot from the main entrance or immediate area to prevent unauthorized access.
- Smoking Area Enforcement: Ensure that patrons are not smoking in areas designated for non-smoking.
- Team Collaboration: Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed.
- Coworker Support: Monitor coworker activity for safety and provide assistance when necessary.
- Security Protocols: Execute the Security's Key items to protect Ojos Locos Agreement.
The Security Officer will work in a fast-paced environment, typically between the hours of 5 pm and 3 am Thursday through Saturday, and 5 pm to 1 am Sunday through Wednesday.
Requirements- Physical Demands: Ability to stand for up to 6 hours and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Computer Skills: Basic computer skills and ability to use security software.
- Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience: Previous experience in the field of security required.
- Certifications: CPR/First Aid certified and continuing education/training in the field of security completed annually.
