Role Overview:

Franklin University is seeking a dedicated part-time faculty member to join the School of Education as a Clinical Supervisor. This role involves overseeing student teachers working with primary-aged children.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting meetings and observations with student teachers and their co-op educators.
  • Evaluating and providing feedback on Teacher Candidates' performance.
  • Staying informed about effective supervision methodologies.
  • Maintaining communication with the School of Education team.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Master's degree in Education.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in K-12 education.
  • Knowledge of teaching standards and practices.
  • Previous experience in mentoring future educators in Ohio.
  • Familiarity with assessment programs and a valid Ohio Teaching license is preferred.
