Job SummaryWe are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced outpatient orthopedic clinic. As a Travel PTA, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population and develop your skills in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Responsibilities- Provide physical therapy services to patients with various orthopedic conditions, including musculoskeletal injuries and post-operative rehabilitation.
- Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments to identify patient needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Implement and progress treatment plans, including exercises, modalities, and other interventions, to achieve patient goals and outcomes.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination and patient satisfaction.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of patient care plans.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and treatment plans.
- Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) from an accredited program.
- State licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in good standing.
- At least 1 year of experience in outpatient orthopedic settings, preferably in a sports medicine or orthopedic clinic.
- Current CPR certification.
