Radiation Therapist

We are seeking a skilled Radiation Therapist to join our team at MultiCare Health System. As a Radiation Therapist, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our Radiation Oncology department.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver external beam radiation therapy in accordance with prescriptions and instructions from Radiation Oncology physicians and Medical Radiation Physicists.
- Observe patients for unusual physical and psychological reactions, and report all observations to the Clinical Nurse Specialist and/or Radiation Oncology physician.
- Maintain daily treatment schedules and work cooperatively with physicians, physics staff, and front office staff for scheduling treatment times, simulations, and diagnostic studies.
- Graduate of an accredited Radiation Technology program and board eligible, with registration to sit for the next board exam given and two consecutive trials to pass before being considered for dismissal.
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology in Radiation Therapy and certified as a Radiation Therapist by the State of Washington.
- CPR certification.
