Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Environmental Service Technician to join our team at Healthcare Services Group. In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining a clean and safe environment for our residents and staff.
Responsibilities:
- Perform daily cleaning tasks, including resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and offices.
- Ensure proper cleaning and sanitation procedures are followed.
- Maintain accurate records of cleaning activities and report any maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor.
- Follow infection control and universal precautions policies to ensure a sanitary environment.
- Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous housekeeping experience is preferred but not required.
- Able to lift/carry a maximum of 50 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend and walk for extended periods.
- Able to perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously.
- Able to work around cleaning products.
