Fusion Medical Staffing-Radiology is seeking a skilled Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist to join our team for a 13-week travel assignment in a short-term acute care hospital setting.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced CT Technologist to work in our radiology department. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for operating CT scanners to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes. You will work closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Operate CT scanners to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes
  • Prepare patients for CT scans, including explaining procedures and positioning patients
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care
  • Monitor patients' responses to interventions and report outcomes
  • Administer medications as ordered with appropriate documentation
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
  • One to three years of experience as a CT Technologist
  • Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and follow verbal instructions
  • PC skills
  • Physical abilities: remain in a stationary position, move about, move equipment (lbs), pushing, pulling, bending
