About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Bartender to join our team at TradeWinds Island Resort, a premier hospitality destination on St. Pete Beach. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and creating memorable experiences for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Service: Maintain a warm and friendly demeanor at all times, ensuring that guests feel welcome and valued.
  • Bar Operations: Set up the bar according to hotel standards, prepare beverages and cocktails, and serve guests with all beverage requirements in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner.
  • Inventory Management: Break down the bar after functions, storing liquor, supplies, and equipment according to hotel standards.
  • Compliance: Follow all state liquor laws and abide by hotel policies and safety rules.
  • Problem-Solving: Respond to guests' problems, complaints, and accidents, and ensure overall guest satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in hotel or a related field preferred.
  • Physical Demands: Medium work - exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
  • Communication: Ability to effectively communicate verbally and written with all levels of employees and guests in an attentive, friendly, courteous, and service-oriented manner.
  • Teamwork: Must be effective at listening to, understanding, and clarifying concerns raised by employees and guests.
  • Adaptability: Must be able to multitask and prioritize departmental functions to meet deadlines.
  • Appearance: Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, including wearing the proper uniform and nametag.
  • Confidentiality: Must be able to maintain confidentiality of information.
  • Initiative: Must be able to show initiative, including anticipating guest or operational needs.
