As a seasoned Healthcare Travel Nurse Practitioner, you will have the opportunity to provide high-quality patient care in Skilled Nursing facilities throughout the state of Michigan.

This role requires a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse Practitioner (NP) who can work effectively as part of a team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, empathy, and a strong ability to work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals.

The salary for this position is estimated to be around $120,000 per year, taking into account the requirements and qualifications outlined below.

Job Description
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care, discussing symptoms and concerns, and perform thorough examinations to diagnose medical problems and prescribe medication or create treatment plans if necessary.
  • Administer treatment and observe patients' functioning over time.
  • Record medical histories of patients, perform physical exams, administer diagnostic tests, and create patient care plans.
  • Collaborate with physicians to treat more advanced illnesses or injuries.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Minimum of 1 year of recent experience as an RN in a clinical setting.
  • Active RN license within the State of practice.
  • Current certifications (variable depending on the facility).
  • Prescriptive authorization.
  • Experience providing primary care as a family nurse practitioner.
  • Knowledge of computer-based data management programs and information systems, as well as medical records and point-of-interview technology.
  • Able to operate as part of a team, alongside physicians and other nurses.
  • Proficient in EHR medical charting system and computer-based data management programs and information systems.
  • A sound understanding of all pertinent federal and state regulations, including HIPAA and OSHA.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of disease prevention.
