Job Title: System Modeling and Simulation Engineer

Amentum is seeking highly skilled System Modeling and Simulation Engineers to support the Field, Lab and Air Integration / Experimentation / Modeling and Risk Reduction (FLAIR) office at Aberdeen Proving Grounds, MD and other locations.

Job Summary:

This project will provide the U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command (DEVCOM), Command, Control, Computers, Communications, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Research (C5ISR) Center with services to include programmatic/business management services, engineering support services, field engineering, laboratory, logistics, and acquisition/administrative support services to augment FLAIR core Government personnel and turn-key solutions to support the missions of FLAIR and its associated Managers and customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Designs and implements simulation solutions for company modeling applications.
  • Analyzes test results to configure model parameters and materials.
  • Identifies development problems and provides technical solutions backed by analysis.
  • Develops product documentation for designs and test procedures.
  • Assists in developing platforms for simulation models.
  • Generates and maintains diagrams for simulation hardware.
  • Develops engineering calculation programs to support simulations.
  • Finds solutions in device literature if it is not already in company documentation.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, electronics engineering, or other engineering or technical discipline.
  • 1-10+ years of experience.
  • 8 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education.
  • Must have an Active TOP SECRET US Government Clearance.
