Job Title: Executive Housekeeper

SpringHill Suites Earth City/St Louis, MO is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Housekeeper to join our team.

Job Summary:

The Executive Housekeeper will be responsible for overseeing the housekeeping department, ensuring that all guest rooms are clean and well-maintained, and providing exceptional customer service to our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of housekeeping staff to ensure efficient and effective room cleaning and maintenance.
  • Conduct regular room inspections to ensure that rooms meet company standards.
  • Develop and implement procedures to improve housekeeping efficiency and quality.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and guest satisfaction.
  • Train and develop housekeeping staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Monitor and control housekeeping expenses to ensure they are within budget.
  • Ensure that all housekeeping equipment and supplies are properly maintained and stored.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of housekeeping supplies.
  • Participate in quality control initiatives to ensure that all guest rooms meet company standards.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2+ years of experience in housekeeping or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and push/pull carts and equipment weighing up to 250 pounds.
  • Ability to stand for long periods and walk frequently.
