We are in search of candidates who have:
- Completion of the School of Retail Management (SORM) training program, designed for aspiring H-E-B Partners committed to managerial careers in store operations
- A minimum of 1 year of leadership experience

What does the role entail?
Management Responsibilities:
- Utilizes independent judgment to make employment-related and business decisions, or effectively recommends such decisions, including product and department strategies, hiring, promotions, and resolving Partner-related issues
- Communicates profitability goals to the team; motivates the team to meet or exceed these expectations
- Develops and trains future leaders through the School of Retail Management (SORM) and School of Retail Leadership (SORL)
- Provides ongoing feedback to ensure team performance aligns with expectations; holds team accountable
- Plans, coordinates, and communicates the corporate merchandising and marketing strategy to the store
- Maintains positive vendor relationships
Sales and Analytics Duties:
- Applies a solid understanding of financials; implements processes to achieve set goals
- Plans, analyzes, builds, and maintains necessary displays based on product development plans and orders
- Implements the corporate merchandising strategy on a daily basis
- Executes daily shelf replenishment processes to ensure product availability
- Demonstrates enthusiasm for products and customer service; enhances customer engagement within the department
- Ensures inventory control and stock conditions are maintained
- Monitors departmental budget and payroll
What is your background?
- Minimum age requirement of 18
- Completion of H-E-B School of Retail Management upon hiring
- 1+ years of experience in retail management
- Experience in leadership and management roles
- SRS Certification
- MHE certification (forklift and power jack training)
