Job Summary

We are seeking an Adjunct Faculty member to teach Visual Communication courses at Lone Star College. The successful candidate will have a strong background in digital media and visual communication, with the ability to create engaging lessons that promote student involvement and application of the material.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach Visual Communication courses at a variety of times and locations
  • Create and implement lesson plans that meet the needs of diverse learners
  • Evaluate student progress and provide feedback in a timely manner
  • Develop and maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum
Requirements
  • Mastery of course content and ability to communicate effectively with students
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to work effectively with a diverse group of students and colleagues
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to diversity and ability to appreciate alternative viewpoints
