Cardiology Technician

Liberty Hospital, a reputable healthcare organization, is seeking a skilled Cardiology Technician to join its team. As a Cardiology Technician, you will be part of an integrated care team delivering high-quality patient care.

The Cardiology Services department at Liberty Hospital is accredited by the American College of Cardiology for Chest Pain/STEMI activation, demonstrating excellence in service. In this role, you will collaborate with physicians, registered nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care.

Key responsibilities of the Cardiology Technician include:

• Performing resting EKGs, including time-critical, STAT, routine, and post-operative open-heart procedures
• Placing Holter monitors
• Conducting Nuclear Medicine Myocardial Perfusion Imaging EKGs
• Working with registered nurses and physicians to interpret cardiac rhythms

To be successful in this role, you will require:

• Education: A high school diploma or equivalent
• Experience: One year of recent telemetry experience and one year of recent EKG experience
• Licensure/Certification: National EKG Certification Exam
• Certifications: BLS Certification within 90 days of hire
