Job Description

As an Equipment Assembly Specialist, you will play a critical role in assembling and testing our family of equipment, including Pelletizers, Pulverizers, Water Baths, Air Knives, Water Slides, Pumps, Screen Changers, Conveying Equipment, and Color Mixers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Read and interpret assembly drawings, blueprints, and layout drawings, as well as electrical prints.
  • Measure parts with micrometers, feeler gauges, and understand tolerances on assembly prints.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of pneumatic circuits, cylinders, valves, regulators, and controls.
  • Position parts and subassemblies by lifting, bending, and kneeling multiple times per day.
  • Document labor hours to work order operations electronically or on written production labor log.
  • Complete production and quality forms, and report any discrepancies with work order material BOMs.
  • Run conduit, mount junction boxes, and pull wire to various electrical devices and motors.
  • Terminate wires as required per electrical drawing.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1-2 years of experience in assembly, maintenance, or related field preferred.
  • Knowledge of safety procedures and protocols.
  • Ability to lift up to 80 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.
