QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

  • Educational Background: Completion of a recognized pharmacy technician program accredited by ONE OF THE FOLLOWING:
    • The American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP)
    • A formal pharmacy technician training program (e.g., technical, hospital, or retail-based) or a military medical services training program.
  • Certification: Must hold and maintain a valid certification and registration from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB).
  • Additional Credentials: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
  • Experience: At least 12 months of full-time experience post-completion of a pharmacy technician program.

WORK SCHEDULE:

  • Services are provided Monday through Friday, from 0700 to 2000, and on weekends and holidays from 0700 to 1800.
  • Shifts are typically scheduled for an 8.5 to 9-hour duration, including an unpaid 30 to 60-minute lunch break.
  • Regular services will not exceed 80 hours within a two-week timeframe.

SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES:

Must thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic setting. Ability to quickly reprioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously is essential. Flexibility and the capability to collaborate with diverse personalities are required. Strong teamwork and time management skills are crucial. Meeting deadlines in a high-pressure environment is vital. A high degree of adaptability and a willingness to embrace change in a demanding atmosphere are necessary.
