Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Pharmacy Technician to join our team at St. Luke's Hospital. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will be responsible for delivering medications, performing unit dose activities, and maintaining records for controlled substances.

Key Responsibilities
  • Effectively follow workflow procedures to coordinate and process patient medication orders
  • Manage own responsibilities and assist the team as needed
  • Demonstrate compassion and care by proactively identifying and resolving potential problems
  • Collaborate with pharmacy teams, medical staff, and customers to resolve issues and ensure accuracy
  • Assist with daily and weekly reports, and perform special projects as needed
  • Maintain inventory, including supply ordering, invoice processing, and managing out dates
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Current PTCB national certification
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in retail pharmacy
  • Ability to lift and/or carry 100 lbs, stand and/or walk for at least 6 hours in an 8-hour work day
