About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Sound Systems Engineer to join our team at Chautauqua Institution.

The successful candidate will be responsible for configuring, setting up, testing, and operating equipment to suit the acoustics of our venues. As a mix engineer, you will amplify, mix, record, sync, and reproduce sounds and effects for productions.

In addition to your technical skills, you will also perform daily system checks, maintain wired and wireless intercom equipment, and ensure that auxiliary audio systems are functioning correctly.

With a strong focus on customer satisfaction, you will work closely with our production team to deliver exceptional audio quality and ensure a seamless experience for our audience.

We offer a competitive salary of $15.50-$17.00 per hour, as well as housing and a travel stipend. If you are passionate about delivering outstanding audio experiences, we encourage you to apply.
