Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented EVS Custodian to join our team at one of our affiliated hospitals/healthcare facilities in New Orleans, LA. As an EVS Custodian, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and aseptic environment, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation in patient, public, and clinical areas.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain assigned areas in a clean and aseptic manner
  • Responsible for cleaning and servicing areas such as guest, patient, public, clinical, and guest areas
  • Assist with special cleaning projects and room turnover
  • Follow all current Joint Commission/CMS regulations pertaining to Environment of Care and Cleaning requirements

Requirements:

  • Ability to read, write, and speak/understand verbal communication in English
  • 1 year of relevant experience preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
