TerraBella Thornblade is a leading provider of senior living and care services, operating over 30 communities across the Carolinas, Virginia, Kentucky, Georgia, and Tennessee. Our communities offer a range of senior living and care options, including Active Independent Living, Assisted Living, Memory Care, and short-term Respite Care.

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Giver to join our team at TerraBella Thornblade. As a Care Giver, you will play a vital role in providing hands-on care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintaining a Clean and Safe Environment: Ensure the cleanliness and safety of residents' rooms and common areas.
  • Supporting Residents' Independence: Assist residents with daily living activities, promoting their dignity and physical safety.
  • Participating in Activities of Daily Living: Help residents with bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, ambulation, transferring, and eating, as instructed.
  • Engaging Residents in Life Skills and Enrichment Activities: Encourage residents to participate in life skills and other life enrichment activities.
Requirements:
  • Certified Nurse's Aid Certification: Preferred, but not required.
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: Required.
  • Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Previous Experience Working with Seniors: Preferred.
  • Effective Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with residents, management, and colleagues.
  • Superior Customer Service Skills: Ability to provide exceptional customer service.
  • Ability to Handle Multiple Priorities: Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Good Judgment and Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to demonstrate good judgment and problem-solving skills.
