The Position

This role is part of Sungrow's Field Service team, responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of solar energy systems in the region. As a Field Service Technician, you will be the primary point of contact for customers, providing technical support and maintenance services for Sungrow's PV inverters and ESS systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on PV inverters and ESS systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Conduct site visits to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, working closely with customers and internal stakeholders to identify and implement solutions.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to develop and implement new maintenance procedures and best practices.
  • Provide training and support to customers on the operation and maintenance of Sungrow's products.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations, including OSHA and NFPA 70e standards.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in the renewable energy industry, with a focus on solar inverters and ESS systems.
  • Strong technical knowledge of PV inverters and ESS systems, including design, installation, and maintenance.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel frequently (80%+).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with MV transformers and electrical safety protocols.
  • OSHA and NFPA 70e certifications.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and ability to create technical reports and documentation.
