Overview
Kettering Health Network is a non-profit healthcare system comprising multiple medical facilities and outpatient services dedicated to serving the southwest Ohio region. We strive to fulfill our service-oriented mission daily, whether through direct patient care, training future healthcare professionals, or engaging in community outreach.
Key ResponsibilitiesEssential Duties:
- Conducts comprehensive sleep studies including polysomnograms, PAP titrations, ASV titrations, BPAP titrations, as well as MSLT and MWT assessments.
- Diagnoses and resolves equipment and sensor malfunctions.
- Prepares for specialized cases involving unique patient needs or complex sleep studies.
- Demonstrates the ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively with colleagues.
- Ensures scoring reliability in sleep study evaluations.
- Performs additional tasks as required.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent is required; an associate or bachelor's degree is preferred.
- Must possess one of the following credentials, with RPSGT being the preferred option:
- RPSGT, Registered Polysomnographic Technologist, from the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (BRPT)
- RST, Registered Sleep Technologist, from the American Board of Sleep Medicine (ABSM)
- Credentials from the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC):
- CPFT, Certified Pulmonary Function Technologist
- RPFT, Registered Pulmonary Function Technologist
- CRT, Certified Respiratory Therapist
- RRT, Registered Respiratory Therapist
- A current BLS certification is required, which can be obtained post-hire.
