We are seeking a skilled CV Rad Technologist to join our Cath Lab team at Norman Regional Health System. As a key member of our cardiovascular program, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our innovative imaging services.

About the RoleThe CV Rad Technologist will be responsible for preparing and maintaining equipment for cardiovascular procedures, providing patient care in a sterile environment, and collaborating with cardiologists to ensure high-quality outcomes. This position requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.
Key Responsibilities- Prepares equipment before and during procedures, ensuring optimal performance and minimizing downtime
- Identifies and assesses patient conditions, prioritizing their needs and developing effective care plans
- Maintains a sterile environment, adhering to strict infection control protocols and guidelines
- Serves as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students, participating in orientation and training programs
- Collaborates with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to facilitate seamless care coordination and communication
To be considered for this exciting opportunity, candidates must possess:
- A degree from an accredited Radiographic Program or Cardiovascular Program
- Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (RCIS)
- BLS certification, with ACLS training required within six months of hire
- Previous experience working in a Cath Lab setting, preferably with cardiovascular or interventional procedures
