Rail Loadout Operator Job Description

Heidelberg Materials US, Inc. is seeking a skilled Rail Loadout Operator to join our team at the Davis Rail Terminal in Oklahoma.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Load all cars and trucks scheduled during the daily operating schedule.
  • Perform maintenance, service, and clean up as needed.
  • Communicate with the supervisor in a timely manner on issues delaying timely loading of cars.
  • Ensure adequate stockpiles are available and maintain product quality throughout the day.
  • Operate loader, haul truck, and locomotive as needed.

Requirements:

  • Prefer high school diploma or general education (GED).
  • Prefer rail operations experience.
  • Open pit mining operations and aggregate products experience is a plus.
  • MSHA training a plus.
  • Physical Requirements: sitting, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, twisting, climbing, balancing, bending, kneeling, reaching, grasping, squatting, repetitive motions, manipulative finger movements, use of wrists, use of feet, use of arms above and below shoulder, work extended periods of time in same position, perform duties in all climates.
