We are seeking a highly skilled Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our team at Falls Road Veterinary Hospital, a Thrive Pet Healthcare partner. As a Licensed Veterinary Technician, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities- Support veterinarians in ensuring quality veterinary care and advocating for pets and their families.
- Assist with surgeries and procedures, maintaining a safe and sterile environment.
- Communicate with clients about individualized pet health concerns and provide guidance on Thrive Membership options, medications, and additional treatments.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive medical records, utilizing practice systems to ensure seamless care.
- Obtain relevant health history and information from clients, maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
- Utilize safe restraining techniques, follow standard protocols, and maintain clean, organized treatment areas, exam rooms, and labs.
- Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to fellow team members, fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment.
- Veterinary technician licensure required.
- 1-2 years of clinical experience.
- An Associate's or Bachelor's degree from an AVMA-accredited veterinary technology program preferred.
