Job Title: Registered Nurse Supervisor

Liberty Healthcare and Rehabilitation Services is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse Supervisor to join our team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse Supervisor to oversee the nursing staff and ensure the highest level of patient care. The successful candidate will have a strong background in geriatric nursing and experience in supervising nursing staff.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and direct the nursing staff to ensure the best patient care possible.
  • Assist the Director of Nursing in directing, coordinating, and supervising the Nursing Services Department.
  • Supervise nursing services for the facility during shifts in accordance with the Nursing Practice Act, facility policies, and procedures, and local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Supervise and assist nurses with patients during acute episodes.
  • Deal with employee problems in a timely manner and document actions.
  • Assume on-call responsibilities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • High school graduate.
  • Registered Nurse, graduated from an accredited School of Nursing. Current, valid license from North Carolina Board of Nursing and submit proof of license renewal every other year.
  • Provide quality-nursing care to patients, follow doctor orders, and have a genuine interest in geriatric nursing.
  • CPR certified yearly.
  • Attend in-service training and other staff meetings as required.
  • Ability to supervise nursing staff, ensuring work assignments are completed appropriately and timely.
  • Read, know, and follow personnel, department, and facility policies and procedures, and adhere to local, state, and federal requirements.
  • Long Term Care experience preferred.
