The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 12 months of experience in a primary care setting within the last 24 months and be licensed to practice as an LPN in Ohio. The LPN will work in a fast-paced environment, providing a range of medical care to include primary, addiction, urgent, and behavioral health care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide medical care to inmates at the Fayette County Jail
  • Work collaboratively with correctional staff to ensure the health and well-being of inmates
  • Develop and implement evidence-based care plans to address the unique needs of inmates
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance the delivery of care

Requirements:

  • Graduate of a school of practical or vocational nursing approved by a state agency or accredited by the ACEN
  • Active, unrestricted OH LPN license
  • BLS from the American Heart Association
