Job Title: Deli Supervisor

At Farmshop Santa Monica, we're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deli Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our market operations team, you will be responsible for driving the success of our deli department and ensuring exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Food Safety and Quality: Ensure the highest standards of food safety and quality in our deli department, including HACCP, food handling, and storage procedures.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries, and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels, including ordering, receiving, and stocking of products, to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize waste.
  • Team Management: Supervise and train a team of deli staff, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet the highest standards of performance.
  • Display and Visual Merchandising: Maintain the visual appeal of our deli department, including display cases, signage, and product presentation.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Previous experience in a food service or customer service role, preferably in a deli or retail environment.
  • Knowledge: Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Skills: Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, with a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
